UnitNimble

Our purpose

A faster way to get the right answer

UnitNimble is a focused measurement utility: quick enough for a single answer, detailed enough to explain the math behind it.

Who maintains UnitNimble

UnitNimble was created and is maintained by Shahbaz Ahmed. Conversion logic, explanations, and reference pages are reviewed against recognized standards such as NIST and the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM). Corrections are welcomed at hello@unitnimble.com.

What we believe

A converter should put the result first. There are no accounts, paywalls, or unnecessary steps. Calculations happen in your browser, and the formula, worked example, and unit definitions remain close to the tool.

Editorial approach

We distinguish exact definitions from rounded practical values, keep US and imperial volume units separate, and treat decimal and binary storage units independently. Pages include source links where a primary standard is useful for verification.

What we do not cover

We deliberately exclude currencies, medical calculators, and live market data. Those jobs need current external data or specialized professional context.
